What Do I Need To Tell You So You Can Quote
It’s important for you to be as thorough as possible in telling us the condition of your property. If it is in extremely poor condition and you don’t tell us that then our staff have been instructed to not conduct the clean. We quote according to the condition, size and type of cleaning services you need.
What Sort Of Cleaning Services Do You Offer?
We offer a a specialized bond back or end of lease cleaning service, one-off cleans, spring cleaning and regular house cleaning for our clients. Our other area of expertise is in commercial cleaning.
How Long Does It Take To Do An End Of Lease Clean?
We understand that cleaning for an end of lease is different to a regular clean because you are on a deadline. Generally, an end of lease clean takes between 3 to 7 hours but this depends on the size of the rental property and the condition. It is always better to allow more time, rather than less. You want to ensure you give us time to do a thorough clean so you can get your bond back.
Do You Steam Clean Carpets?
Absolutely; we clean carpets and rugs. In fact, we often run moving out cleaning offers where we will do the steam cleaning for free! How’s that for a great deal? If it’s just a carpet steam clean you need then we will be happy to quote you on that too.
How Many Cleaners Do You Send?
It depends on the type of clean you request but we generally work in teams of 2 to 3 cleaners. This will also depend on the size and condition of your property.
Do You Clean Furnished Houses?
Yes, it’s like cleaning an office which we have experience in also. It inevitably takes longer to clean rather than a vacant property but it’s part of our service.
Do You Clean Wooden Floors?
Yes, wooden floors are cleaned as part of the service. We sweep and mop hard wood floors and only if requested, do we wax and polish as this is an additional cost and time. Depending on the condition of your wooden floors you may not require the additional wax and polish.
Do You Clean Bathroom And Kitchen Tiles?
Yes we certainly do. What’s important to tell us prior is if your grout is discoloured or your tiles are in poor condition. When the grout and tiles are in poor condition we need to pressure clean them and this is expensive and would need to be included in the quote.
Do You Clean Windows?
We clean the inside of windows and only clean the outside on request.
Do You Clean Balconies?
Yes, as part of the vacate cleaning we do clean balconies but please request this when we quote you.
Do You Clean Ovens And Stoves?
Yes, this one is often something that people a loathe to do. We provide this as part of the bond back cleaning. If it’s for a regular house clean then please specify this and we will undertake it as required.
Do You Clean Fridges?
When you move out, generally the fridge will be gone before we arrive but if you need your fridge cleaned then please specify this when we are quoting you for any cleaning work you require as it is considered additional.
How Much Notice Do You Require To Book A Cleaning Job?
It’s always best to give us as much time as possible as our staff can get quite busy. It’s good to plan ahead, so if you are vacating and once you know you are moving, book in your cleaning job after your removalist and when you think your property will be vacant. Make sure it is before your lease expires so you give us time to make sure we have time to clean everything.
If it is for a regular clean of a house or office then please advise us of days and times that will suit you and we will do our best to accommodate your requested cleaning routine.
One off cleans or spring cleans also require as much notice as possible as they take longer than a regular clean.
Do You Offer A Bond Back Guarantee For End Of Lease Cleaning?
We help you get your bond back. If the state of the property is poor and unable to be cleaned (ie, rodents) we won’t clean it but it is rare that this is the case. You”ll need to be aware that you are required to leave a rental reasonably clean; taking into consideration reasonable wear and tear.
What If My Real Estate Agent Complains About The Cleaning?
Within reason, Totally Clean Company will go back and clean those things itemized by the estate agent, and originally quoted by us, at no extra cost. In order for this to happen the following is required:
- The property is checked within 24 hours of the clean and any complaints are submitted to us within that 24 hour period
- You must email a list of what needs additional cleaning and give us a day’s notice
- The invoice is paid in full and on time by you.
How Often Should I book A House Or Office Clean?
It very much depends on the size of your house and use of things like showers, basins, carpets, etc and the number of people living there, if it is a house cleaning job. Having kids can mean more work as I’m sure you would know! If it is an office clean then we need to look at the size, what sort of business you are and how much traffic you get through your office. Talk to us to discuss your requirements.
